Below/ to the right you’ll find a recorded audio of one of the exercises featured in the book.
To get the most benefit from these practices, we recommend using them daily, ideally before stress or anxiety set in. The more consistently you use them, the easier it becomes to calm your body, focus your mind, and access these tools when you need them most.
Relying on them only in moments of crisis reduces their effectiveness, and makes it more likely you’ll forget to use them altogether. Build the habit now, and your future self will thank you.
Audio title: Rooted Feet – A Grounding Practice for Wild Sensitives
What it is:
The Rooted Feet practice is a simple yet powerful embodiment exercise designed to bring you fully into the present moment. Whether you’re standing or sitting, this practice helps you reconnect with your body through breath, stillness, and gentle awareness. You create a calming energetic anchor, steady, safe, and rooted in now.
Why it’s helpful:
For Highly Sensitive and High Sensation Seeking souls, life can feel chaotic. This practice offers a pause, a moment of refuge, where the nervous system can settle, and the mind can soften. It’s a way to return to your body, to remind yourself:
I am here. I am secure and am ready for the world.
Whether you’re starting your day, coming back from overwhelm, or simply seeking a deeper connection to your inner stillness, this practice is a gentle reset. It’s not about doing more, it’s about feeling more, with grace and presence.

We’ve recorded a version for you to use. As with the audio, regular practice is key, the more often you listen and engage, the more your brain rewires itself for calm, clarity, and resilience.
By building these new neural pathways now, you’ll find it much easier to apply the exercises when stress hits
Video Title: Somatic Check-In – Returning to Your Body’s Wisdom
A practice to help you sense what’s true… before it becomes too much.
Because as Wild Sensitives, we often push through discomfort until it becomes collapse. This is a voice for your body, to listen and pause. Because the body often knows before the mind can name it.
- What it is: A quick, body-based awareness practice that helps you track emotional states through physical sensation and respond with care before misalignment builds.
- Why it’s useful: Wild Sensitives often push through discomfort until it becomes collapse. This tool builds moment-to-moment attunement, helping you make real-time adjustments that protect energy and restore coherence.
